This is allegedly the name of the person calling himself Sam Bacile. Now I know that America is a diverse country, but Nakoula Basseley Nakoula seems to have a bit of a foreign ring to it. No matter the name or the origin, it seems that this person has exposed the danger in being led our by feelings.
This is not the first attack by a group that wasn’t afraid to stand up for “what they believe”. The anniversary of 9/11 observed for this very reason. We’ve got to be the most bass -ackwards “intelligent species” ever created. We’re willing to destroy the entire earth for what we believe. What good are your beliefs when you have no place to express them?
$1, 738bn is how much was spent on the world’s military last year, according to estimates by the Stockholm International Peace Institute (SIPRI). Here’s that number in numbers 1,738,000,000,000 (per year). What makes this interesting to me is that the world’s economy is supposedly in a depression. Well no wonder! We spend more money learning how to destroy life than we do learning how to preserve it.
I’m sure Mr. Nakoula, where ever he’s from, knew that his film would cause a backlash of some sort. coincidentally, this comes to international exposure on 9/11. There’s a little more to this than meets the eye I think. I’d like to see how all this shakes out when it’s all said and done.
Or does it even matter? It still doesn’t change the fact that all of this was sparked by how someone FELT! My condolencess to the families that lost loved ones in this tragedy.
